If you want to know if they are legions of the undead or most of the things that you have seen in movies, well none of that stuff is true. Like most things people have been added on the the reality of things as story or myth progressed. Just like their is truth behind mermaids, or even alien gods who might have been called angels. There is some truth behind the story of the vampire. Like many things in this material matrix, people have been taught to either deny the supernatural or to fear it. Yet they do not realize there is a hidden world that has been shielded from you. Most talk about 2012, but what they do not realize is 2012 is symbolic of all the hidden world, that we have been running from is about to be merged with our everyday world. The same way when the twin towers fell those around the world said america has been initiated into the everyday reality of citizens of third world countries,
Well the same thing holds true for the hidden worlds of vampires. In taoism and certain schools of sex magic practicers of those arts can you tell you, is you can drain ones lifeforce by having sex with another individual. Just like students of druidism can tell you, when you take someones life if you know how to harness energy one can actually asborb energy from killing someone.
People incarnate for a lifetime with a certain way of relating to the physical world through the vehicle of our physical body. A vampire is a person born with the ability to absorb, channel, transform, and manipulate "pranic/chi energy" or life force(to westerners). A person with vampire potential has a critical energy imbalance which reels wildly from deficit to overload and back again. This capacity for handling energy is a gift, but the constant imbalance of their own system can be cause of the negative behavior patterns.
Real vampires do not have to drink blood. In fact, most of them don't. Throughout myths, there is an understanding that vampires require energy or life force. Most myths accept that vampires suck blood, yet never describe this actually happening. The victims slowly die .Yet,(according to some witnesses) in many instances the vampire's "attack" does not even involve physical contact. In others, it is clearly sexual energy which is exchanged. Some a touch of the skin is the trigger. Without a doubt blood has the highest form amount of chi or prana in live organisms. But in reality one has to be vibrating on a certain level to actually asborb the prana or chi from blood. The same way a breatharian can live off air and sunlight(alone) but normal people cannot. Why because the breatharian is vibrating on a certain level where he or she can asborb more energy from sunlight, water and wind then the normal person. Most so called vampires function in a similar function. While they might get energy for blood, the blood is more like a drug or a snack, they can usually drain your lifeforce by other means.
Vampires do have an origin in Egypt. As members of the order of Nephthys were among the first of the vampire group. Osiris/Ausar was known as a demon hunter and by a certain time osiris/ausar and his minions had chased the vampires out of africa. Stories of vampires existed in west africa in ghana they were called asabonsam. In asia and the americas they are similiar stories of vampire type creatures. Yet the eastern european legends is the most famous for several reasons. The most important reason is in reality according to most eastern europe is the center of their empire. In some eastern european countries even today the common people do not think vampires being real is so outrageous as we in the west seem to think. The vampire lodge or society of eastern european regrouped and spread out worldwide but much more subtly then in the past. They made deals with the illuminati(vatican and european nobility cartel) and in the illuminati's mind they have actually defended the population from the vampire threat. Vampires for sure are related to the reptilians of myth and are considered a sought of hybrid between regular mammals and their reptillian cousins. Note quite as strong and physical gifted as reptillians but much more sensitive to energy then regular humans.
There empire is spread out with eastern europe being their heartland but influence going from western europe to significant influence in asia and south america. Very limited influence in africa and the middle east. Most vampires are armed with a sought of magic that existed in the earliest times of egypt, and they practice certain yoga techniques that have been long lost. But most importantly they have ways of transfering memories, knowledge, and power to their offsprings and or students. So while the immortals of tibet, india, and china have to spend years learning to slow down their aging process, the vampire/parastic immortals can learn to do the same much faster. Vampires even like to feed on so called messiah seeds(or people with high levels of chi or prana from birth) as the blood of these beings have more energy then the blood of normal people. Africa has been off limits to vampires because vampires do not react will to solar magic(re-ra) there goes the myth they are scared of the sun. Now the present african religions are only fragments of their former selves and they cannot defeat the vampires as of right now, but they can wound them, and the various vampire cults do not want their other rivals to really see their weaknesses. Now they have weakened africa now because one christinity and islam are now the dominant religions but two their is a major conflict amongst the two groups of black immortals.
Asia has been considered neutral ground for a long time though the more positive immortals the legends of china. tibet, and india etc have in general stopped the vampires from gaining to much ground in these regions. Believe it or not america has not been a really friendly place either as american intelligence agencies or should i say the super intelligence agencies like majestic and their allies the men in black have largely kept vampires out. Vampires for the most part have are not as powerful as the movies portray. They can be killed almost like regular people but they are masters of magic, sometimes alchemy. They might not be strong like superman but they are stronger in strength and senses then regular folk. They can usually live longer then the immortals of asia who tend to live anywhere between 200-1000 years old. Vampires tend to double that age gap and at the same time achieve immortality quicker and in greater numbers then their rivals. Some gifts vampires have:

2.) The most powerful vampires can shape shift for sure
3.) Enchanced strength and speed
4.) Can download energy or information to each other
5.) Have knowledge of really advanced forms of magic, and the most advanced sex magic on earth
Vampires are in real trouble right now. As they cannot decode information from the sun or they will not be able to in the new cycle(2012). This will force them to begin to engage the messiah seeds(specifically) more aggressively then they ever did before. As most occultist know that eventually if you are parastic you will not be able to live on earth in the new cycle. So vampires like normal human folks are weighing their options preparing for the new world, while they are nowwhere as powerful as the movies say, knowing about them is 50% of the fight. As they use stealth to defeat their opponents. Hopefully this is the beginning of their culture being revealed to the world.
